Super Lawyers named Bill Turley as a Defense Base Act Super Lawyer for 2017. Bill has been named a Defense Base Act Super Lawyer every year since 2011. “This is a tremendous honor to be again chosen by my peers as a Defense Base Act Super Lawyer,” Bill says.
Super Lawyers selects attorneys using their multi-phase selection process. Super Lawyers are chosen by peer nominations and evaluations. This is done in conjunction with a third party research process. Super Lawyers selections are made yearly on an annual, state-by-state basis. Super Lawyer nomination process was recently patented.
Super Lawyers state the their objective is to create an objective resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.
Once a year lawyers in California are invited to nominate the best lawyers that they have personally observed in action. This is the first phase of the process. Then attorneys research the who have attained certain honors, results or credentials, which indicate a high degree of peer recognition or professional competence. In addition, Super Lawyers uses a "blue ribbon review” process.
“When I look at the other lawyers that have been named Super Lawyers, you can see that the blue ribbon review process has been largely successful,” continues Bill.
