The basis for the complaint is a diminishment in value caused by the recent recalls. "The entire Toyota brand is tainted," points out Toyota California Class Action co-counsel Tracee Lorens. The drop in value of these vehicles is a measurable number - - which are the damages suffered by California Toyota owners and Lexus owners according to the Complaint. And there appears to be very, very strong evidence which supports these points.
