Toyota Defecto Abogado de Mexico

Toyota has reached an out-of-court settlement with relatives of the Saylor family. This is the family which was killed due to a Lexus' unintended acceleration in San Diego, California. The Lexus they were driving sped out of control and crashed. This was the accident that put a national spotlight on the sudden acceleration problems. Soon after, Toyota started to recall millions of vehicles.

The Saylor unintended acceleration crash is the tip of the iceberg. There have been dozens and dozens of deaths and more injuries due to Toyota's and Lexus' sudden acceleration defects.

There has been much controversy as to the cause of these crashes. The legal cases have been consolidated and are being handled by a Federal Judge in California and a State Court Judge in California.

Bill Turley has attended most of the Toyota depositions thus far. Here are some preliminary impressions. There appears to be several problems or defects with the Toyota and Lexus vehicles. While many have downplayed the so called floor mat defect and sticky pedal defects, there actually may be defects related to the floor mats and gas pedals.

However, the Toyota and Lexus vehicles are defective because they allow the accelerator to override th brake system. Meaning, the vehicles should have a brake override system. The brakes should override the accelerator and stop the vehicle.

Toyota fully realizes this. This is why Toyota currently has a brake override system in all of their new vehicles.
