Q: How much is my case worth?
A: There is no calculation or formula for an attorney to determine the value of any particular case. There are many, many variables which help determine the value of a California injury case. These variables include the nature and extent of your injuries, the amount of past and future medical treatment, the amount of past and future wage loss, is there scarring or disfigurement, subjective factors such as pain and suffering and loss of enjoyment of life. Our office will usually have a pretty good idea of the value of a reasonable settlement range after your treatment has reached a permanent and stationary status.
At the end of the day, it is usually a jury which determines the value of any case. Venue (where a case is filed), the jury panel, the particular Judge assigned all are legitimate factors which must be considered.
