Defense Base Act Attorney DBA Lawyer

My Best Advice

Nothing is more important when handling your Defense Base Act case than speaking the truth. People who believe if they sugarcoat their case, it will help them win in court. Wrong.

You have to be up-front, honest, and truthful to your attorney and the judge. If a judge suspects your not telling the truth, you can say goodbye to your case. Count on it. I have seen it time and time again.

My Second Best Advice

Take the time to research your case. The more homework you do, the better your case. Order my Free book, Win Your Defense Base Act Case: The Ultimate Straight Talk Roadmap To The Medical Treatment and Money You and Your Family Deserve. It is full of useful information when it comes to your injury and the Defense Base Act System.

And be sure to check out the 5 Star Amazon reviews written by overseas contractors who read the book and benefitted from the information it contains. This book will be the best thing on helping you take the necessary steps to win your Defense Base Act Case.

The Unknowns Can Hurt You

There’s probably a lot you don’t know about your Defense Base Act (DBA) case, and what you don’t know can hurt you. It may be obvious to you, your family, and even your doctor that you’ve been seriously hurt as a result of work overseas, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s going to be obvious to the Judge. And if you lose your case because you lied, messed up, or just weren’t informed about your rights, you won’t get a “do-over.”

You Won’t Get a Second Chance to Do Your Defense Base Act Case Right

If you’ve been seriously hurt, you need to get serious about your DBA claim. Civilian contractors lose their cases all the time because they’re just not prepared for the reality of the process. It takes a whole lot more than just filling out the right forms or getting your doctor to testify. Defense Base Act cases can be extremely complicated, and you may end up having to fight the insurance company to get the money and benefits you deserve.

Getting informed means that you will be better able to make sound decisions about your DBA case. I can't stress it enough: Get started by requesting a free copy of my book, Win Your Defense Base Act Case: The Ultimate Straight Talk Roadmap to the Medical Treatment and Money You and Your Family Deserve, which will give you an in-depth look at what to expect.

My advice is that you read my book before you speak to the DBA adjuster, sign any releases, fill out any forms or hire a lawyer.  Remember, the DBA adjusters are trained to get you to say things that will harm your case.  It happens to well meaning folks all the time.

What I see is that honest people don't see the tricks and traps that the insurance companies lay out for them.  The insurance adjusters job is to look for reasons to deny your claim. They are looking for ways to keep you and your family from getting the benefits that you are entitled to under the law.

You have to look at it as if you are at war with the insurance company.  Any other view will cost you and your family money.

I realize that you may not really want to hear any of this. I am known for being blunt and telling people what they need to hear.  I repeat like a mantra how important it is for you to be truthful about everything.  My book explains why that is so important and how seemingly innocent statements and actions can and will wreck a DBA case. But getting the "heads up" now is much better than learning all of this the hard way.
