Propeller Accident Lake Mohave - Woman Dies
It has been reported that a boating accident at Lake Mohave killed a woman on Saturday, August 29, 2009. News reports state that the 22 year-old victim fell from a pontoon boat and was fatally struck by the vessel's propellers.
The incident occured in Gasoline Alley on Lake Mohave. According to witnesses, she fell off the bow of the boat and was struck by the propeller. In June 2008, a 58 year-old California woman was killed due to being struck a propeller while swimming in Gasoline Alley.
Propeller strike injuries/ deaths are all too common. And preventable. Propeller guards for pontoon boats are simple, feasible and effective.
Our prayers go out to this young woman and her family.
Too many people are injured on the Colorado River and the River Lakes. The bottom line is this. If you or a loved one is injured or killed in a boating accident, you need a seasoned maritime attorney. Not a car accident attorney. But an attorney that specializes in boat accidents. We don't try and suggest we are the only seasoned maritime injury lawyers. If we are not a "good fit" for your case, we are more than willing to recommend a good honest maritime attorney for your case. Remember this: the insurance company is going to hire a really good maritime defense lawyer.
Brought to you by: Lake Mohave injury lawyers and Colorado River Boat Accident Attorneys and California Maritime Lawyers.
