Neda received a degree in Urban Studies and Planning at the University of California, San Diego. After completing her undergraduate degree, Neda accepted a position with KB Home, a national homebuilder, where she streamlined development and construction through permit processing. She was also in charge of daily benchmark reporting for the division’s single family home projects.
Neda received a Master’s degree in City Planning at San Diego State University. Following her graduation she worked for the Industrial Environmental Association (IEA), a San Diego trade association bridging the gap between industry and the environment through lobbying and educational initiatives. As a policy analyst at IEA, Neda was a project manager for an EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Border 2012 grant with the objective of bolstering sustainability in the border region.
While working for IEA, Neda pursued her law degree at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Neda was a Post Bar Land Use Aide for the Honorable Councilwomen, Sherri Lightner, City of San Diego, where she worked on various land use, real estate, and water policies.
Neda is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), Consumer Attorneys of San Diego (CASD), Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), and the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA).
